BDO Latvia meeting with the founder and owner of the Krassky Group, Aigars Zelmenis
Last week, the BDO Latvia team met with the founder and owner of our client Krassky Group, Aigars Zelmeni.
The company, which has a turnover of more than 50 million, started with a small tile gallery of 80 square meters on Barona street, but even at that time they were the first in Latvia to be able to offer customers large-format tiles from recognized manufacturers.
Aigars and Edgars came up with the name "Krassky" in a hurry, because it seemed that the Italian-sounding words were borrowed by pizza restaurants. They chose a slightly altered name for the Russian word "colors", while the designer of the business card inadvertently replaced the "i" with a "y".
Aigars believes that spirituality and business are not two opposite camps, and a person should develop all four intelligences - spiritual, emotional, mental and physical. In his opinion, spirituality is rather a catalyst for a person to be able to function fully in business.
