Day-to-day tasks as a Tax intern or trainee:

• Research Assistance: Delve into tax laws and regulations to assist senior tax professionals in understanding and applying them.

• Experience: Prior internship or up to 1 year of experience in a Tax related role is a plus.

• Language Proficiency: Fluent in both Latvian and English (written and spoken). Proficiency in Russian is a valuable addition.

What are the requirements to apply? 

• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications like CPA, CTA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in tax consulting, with a track record of leading projects and teams. Prior managerial experience is essential.
• Specialized Tax Knowledge: In-depth understanding of specific tax areas, including VAT, CIT, ITIN, and transfer pricing. Comprehensive knowledge across all taxation areas is a distinct advantage.
• Leadership Abilities: Proven capability to lead and mentor a team, ensuring that deadlines and client expectations are consistently met. Experience in performance management and team development.
