Raivis Janis Jaunkalns

Raivis is a director and the head of the audit department of BDO Assurance. His daily work responsibilities include strategic management and development of the audit department, management of audit projects, budget management, maintaining relations with existing and new clients, team development and cooperation in projects with other departments. 

Raivis has extensive experience in leading audits of complex international concerns that prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS (English IFRS) and local legislation requirements, as well as consulting clients in implementing IFRS and improving accounting. 

Before joining BDO, Raivis gained experience in the EY Latvia office, working with clients from a wide range of industries, managing and being part of complex audits of financial sector (banking and fintech) and manufacturing companies.
